LIFADIN ZAZZAU MUHAMMAD YARO
Lifidan Zazzau, Mallam Muhammad Yaro was on 20th June 1963 at Farakwai. He started school at L.E.A Primary School, Rigachikun from 1970 to 1976. He then went to Basawa Teacher’s College, Zaria in 1976 and completed it in 1981. In 1982, he attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained several Certificates that took him to 1994. His qualifications include; Primary School Leaving Certificate which he obtained in 1976, Teacher’s Grade II Certificate in 1981. He also acquired a Diploma Certificate & Bachelor of Science in Accounting and then the Nigerian Bar Association all within the year 1984 to 1994.
Mallam Muhammadu started working as L.E.A. Primary School Teacher, Farakwai from 1981 to 1982, then he move to Sokoto State Audit Department to 1988.he has also worked with the Ministry of Finance kaduna State for three months September to December 1988. From 1989, he moved to Nigerian Agricultural And Cooperative Bank to 1998. He was two times elected Member of Kaduna State House of Assembly representing Igabi East Constituency, in May 1999 and again in May 2003. And he was also a two-time Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, in May 2002 to May 2003 and again from November 2005 to May 2007. Just after his turbaning as Lifadin Zazzau, the District Head of Farakwai in May 2007 by His Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Shehu Idris CFR,( retired on 19th May, 2018 as Kwarafai Fief Holder). He was later appointed as the Commissioner (Ministry of Local Government and Ministry of Commerce & Industry) from July 2007 to May 2010. And in July 2010, he was appointed as the Commissioner (Kaduna State Ministry for Economic Planning) to May 2011.
Mallam Muhammad has undergone various Adhoc Assignments within the Kaduna State Government. These include;

  • Chairman, Inauguration Committee during the tenure of His Excellency Arc. Muhammad Namadi Sambo in 2007
  • Member, Local Organization Committee (LOC) National Sports Festivals (KADA 2008)
  • Chairman, Venue And Facilities Sub-Committee of KADA 2008.
  • Chairman Kaduna State Committee on 2010 Hajj Exercise.
  • Chairman Kaduna State Implementation Committee of 2010 Hajj Report and;
  • Chairman Board of Trustee (BOT) of His Excellency, Arc. Muhammad Namadi Sambo Skills Acquisition Centre Igabi Local Government Area
