Former District Head of Fatika, Abdullahi Ibrahim Sambo was born in Dundubus in Giwa Local Government Area on 1st October 1952. He went to L.E.A Primary School in Giwa from 1960 to 1966 and General Council Examination (GCE) Home Studies in 1970.
He did course at Sokoto Clerical Training School from July 1968 to December 1968, Kaduna School of Health Technology as at April 1970 to December 1971, then Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Department of Community Medicine where he obtained a National Diploma on Health Officer’s Course in November 1986. He then moved to Kaduna State Polytechnic and acquired an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration from 1995 to 1997.
In 1990, he was appointed as the Galadiman Giwa by His Highness the Emir of Zazzau which he held till 2003 when he was then given a fief title of Maidalan Zazzau, District Head of Fatika still by Emir of Zazzau Alhaji (Dr.) Shehu Idris.  Mai Dalan Zazzau was retired from fief holder of Fatika on 19th May, 2018.
