MAKAMAN MALAMAN ZAZZAU

Mallam Sani Yusufu Magaji was born on 26th May 1962.his educational background started from primary school at Kwarbai Primary School, Zaria in 1970, then secondary school at the Government College, Kaduna from 1976 to 1981 and then his tertiary education at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from the year 1983 to 1986. He studied Sociology and graduated with a Second Upper Class Division (B. Sc Sociology).

His working experience started as a classroom teacher at the Government Teaccher’s College Dambam, Bauchi State in the year 1986 to 1987, he then moved to the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria from 1987 to 1994. In the year 1995, he became a lecturer at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria up to 2005 and then change of Cadre to rank of Assistant Registrar to 1998. By 1999, he became the Head, Academic Division/Academic Secretary to 2005.

Mallam Sani Yusufu has undergone several training/courses organized by different institutes. They include;

  • Logistic and Physical Distribution Management Course organized by NITT Zaria & C.I.T London in the year 1989.
  • Transport Planning Management Course organized by NITT & C.I.T London, 1988
  • Current Trends in Communication Skills for new Millennium, Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria in 2000
  • In-House Training Management and Administrative Duties by Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria & NITT
  • National Board for Technical Education Seminar for Stakeholders on Minimum Standards, NBTE Kaduna
  • Nigerian Institute of Management N.I.M in 2001
  • Institute of Industrialist and Corporate Administration, I.IC.A in 2011.

And he acquired two Certificates of Attendance, one from K.N.I Malaysia and the other in a Management Course at Dubai. Alhaji Sani has also served in several committees within the institutes of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology and the Federal College of Education.

On the 25th June, 2014, the Zazzau Emirate Council under the leadership of His Highness the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Dr. Shehu Idris CFR appointed him as the Makaman Malaman Zazzau to date.
