Dr. Bello Salanken Zazzau was born at Kofar Fada, Zaria city on the 6 Jan 1956.
He started his primary education at Kofar Gayan L.E.A  Primary School Zaria City, from class one (1) to class six (6) from the 1962 to 1967, and by 1968 he moved to Central Primary School at Ikara, Ikara Local Government. Then in 1969 he went to Alhuda Huda College Zaria, which was then Government Secondary School Zaria. In the year 1973 Dr. Bello went to (CAS College of Arts and Science Zaria) and graduated in 1975 in 1975 and then further went to Ahmed Bello University Zaria Medical School, he graduated in 1980.
After his graduation from the ABU medical school, he want to Bauchi state for his house man ship at the Bauchi State Specialist Hospital that lasted for a period of one year. Like every young graduate he went for his national service (NYSC) at Gwadabawa General Hospital in Sokoto State. He then went back to Bauchi State Jama’are General Hospital in 1982.
In the year 1983 Dr. Bello came back to his home town Zaria Kaduna State and established his Private medical Centre. In order to contribute and render service to his society, community and nation at large in medical sector.
Even after establishing a medical centre, Dr. Bello went back to Kongo Campus, ABU Zaria where he did a course in management studies, a post graduate in public Health (Master’s in Public Health) all within the years of 2006 and 2010.
Dr. Bello did not only restrict himself to medical line. He attended so may course seminars workshops and conferences outside the scope of medical studies. He obtained a certificate in computer studies from Kaduna State polytechnic now Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic in the Year 2003.
Dr. Bello has also held several offices that include Member Governing Council Kaduna State College of Education Kafanchan in 1987. Chairman Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Board in 1988-1991. He headed the Kaduna state medical team to Hajj in the year 1992-1993. He also deputized as Head of Federal Medical team in 1994. He was also a committee member on HIV Aids in 1993. chairman family support trust fund, Kaduna state 1994. The chairman schools management Board Dr. Shehu Lawal Giwa Secondary School. He was the Chairman I.T.N Model Primary and Secondary School chairman Both Amir Malam Abdulkarim Science Secondary School Giwa from 2001 to date. He is also a board member National Institute for Transport Technology from 2012 to 2015. Chairman of Kaduna state Quran Recitation Competition.  Chairman College Midwifery Kaduna State. He has been the Head of Federal Medical Team National Hajj Commission of Nigeria from 2012 – Date.
His Highness Alhaji Dr, Shehu Idris C.F.R. Recognise the Humanitarian Services and contributions in all sectors that Dr Bello serve to the community of Zazzau, Kaduna State and the nation. Made His Highness to Award him with the title of Salanke of Zazzau on 17th December, 1993 and also promoted him as fief holder, District Head of kubau. In 1995 he was transferred to Giwa as District Head of Giwa District. In Year 2000 he was transferred to Waje, Tudun Wada Zaria District. Retired from Waje Fief holder on 19th 0f May 2018.
Dr. Bello Salenken Zazzau held several committees within the emirate council, ranging from Durbar Celebration, Turbaning committees and many others. He is covertly the Chairman of the History bureau and authenticity for the Emirate Council. Dr. Bello is also serving as the representative of Highness the Emir of Zazzau on Kaduna State task force on Polio Eradication since 2012 to date.
He travelled to many countries on various missions in medical and Islamic religious matters, as representative of Kaduna State or Nigeria, such as Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Egypt, Islamic Republic of Iran, Ghana, Niger Republic, South Africa.
Salanken Zazzau is a Royal Price from Katsinawa Dynasty of Zazzau Emirate. His hobbies’ are Quranic recitation and Horse riding.
