Mallam Aminu Musa was born on the 15th October 1947 in Giwa L.G.A, he is currently the royal title holder of Baushen Zazzau Zazzau District Head of Kaya. He was turbaned by His Highness Alhaji Dr. Shehu Idris CFR on 1st June 2001.
His educational background and working experience has brought great success to his life.
He started his primary education at the Junior Primary School in Kaya from 1953 and obtained a Junior Primary School Leaving Certificate in 1957. In 1958, he proceeded to Senior Primary School Potiskum and completed it in the year 1960 where he received a Senior Primary Certificate.
On completion of his primary education, he then moved to NTC Training Centre Shinkafi in the year 1966 to obtain a Certificate in Leaf Production. In 1970, he went to Zaria Teacher’s College that he completed in the year 1974 and was awarded a Certificate of Grade II.
Mallam Aminu was committed to further to further his education, he obtained Certificate in Cooperative Studies in 1975, Certificate in Higher Cooperative Studies in 1981 and a Certificate in Assistant Registrar of Cooperatives in 1984 all from the Kaduna State Polytechnic.
His working experience started as a classroom teacher in 1963 where he taught for a year and moved to work at NTC Zaria from 1964 to 1966. He has also worked at the Kaduna State Ministry of Agriculture from 1974 to when he voluntarily retired from service in 2001.

Was Retired as Fief Holder of Kaya on 19th May, 2018.
