BIOGRAPHY OF ALHAJI UMAR SHEHU IDRIS
Alhaji Umar Shehu idris is a descendant of long line of Emir’s, his father Alhaji(Dr) Shehu ldris C. F. R. from the Kastinawa Ruling Dynasty of Zazzau Emirate, was not the first but the longest serving Emir of Zazzau dynasty. Alhaji Umar was born in Zaria city the capital of Zazzau, on the 11th April, 1983. He started his education at an early age of seven (7) years where he attended Qur’anic school in Zaria. Haven’t acquired Islamic knowledge; he then started western education at the prestigious Therbow Primary School G.R.A, Zaria from 1989 to 1995 and obtained his primary school certificate. As the then legacy of any privileged person or persons with blueblood, attending a private boarding school was a great luxury. For this he preceded to the reputable Hassan Ibrahim Gwarzo secondary school Kano for his secondary education from the year 1997 to 2003.
From the year 2003 to 2004 he attended the International University of Africa Khartoum, Sudan where he obtained a Diploma in Arabic Language after which he moved to the Sudanese Canadian College Khartoum and acquired his degree in Business Administration from 2004 to 2008. Alhaji Umar never ceases to find passion for knowledge as he is a hardworking and a very dedicated person. For this personality that he possesses, he then returned to his Father land and further his education where he obtained his M. Sc Banking and Finance and also M. Sc Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 2012 to 2016.
Alhaji Umar is currently persuading a Masters of Philosophy in Information Science.
He has received awards of “ICON HUMANITARIAN SERVICES” and “ICON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT” from Nation Association of Northern States Students
Union (NANSU)
Haven held the Finance Office of Zazzau Emirate from 2011 to 2013, Alhaji Umar is currently the assistance Secretary, Zazzau Emirate Council. And he is the Chairman/CEO Dynamic Crown Nigeria Limited.
Alhaji Umar Shehu idris is married. His title of Dan-lsan Zazzau was confirmed to him by his father Alhaji (Dr.) Shehu idris CFR on 21st of April, 2017 and was turbaned on Friday 28th April, 2017.
His hobbies is Reading and Horse riding.
