Dokan Zazzau and former District Head of Malali Alhaji Shehu Ja’e was born at Kawo Kaduna on the 24th July 1941.
He attended Kawo Primary School from 1953 to 1956. Later proceeded to senior primary school Soba in 1957, from there he went to Toro Teachers College, Bauchi State in 1960 to 1962. In 1967 he went through H.T.T.C Wudil in Kano State for a year. As the years went by, he went through Kaduna polytechnic in 1970, Katsina C.D Engineering school in 1973, Kaduna polytechnic again between the year1974 to 1976, Ahmadu Bello University in 1988 and Administrative staff college of Nigeria (ASCON) Badagary, Lagos. Through the years he attended over 30 seminars and conferences within and outside Nigeria.
Alhaji Shehu has served at different places through the years. I worked at Pilgrims Officer in Kaduna from 1979 to 1988. He became a Secretary, Kaduna Local Government in 1989. He was a three-time the Director of personnel in Kaduna North, Makarfi, Igabi, and Chikun Local Government Areas.
And in June 2001 he was turbaned appointed by Alhaji Dr. Shehu Idris CFR, the Emir of Zazzau as the District of Head Malali, Kaduna North Local Government with title of Dokan Zazzau. Retired as Malali Fief Holder on 19thMay 2018.
