GWABREN ZAZZAU
ALHAJI ALIYU ABUBAKAR GADAS
Mallam Aliyu Abubakar was born at the Sarkin Gadas House on 11th July 1941. He attended his Islamic School in Kawari Doguwar Giginya and Anchau Primary School, Takalafiya from 1954 to 1958.
Mallam Aliyu became an Adult Educator (yaki da jahilci) in Gadas from 1960 to 1962.
He was turbaned as the Gwarben Zazzau and to date he remained the first District Head of Gadas after being turbaned on 30th April 2001 by the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Dr. Shehu Idris CFR. Gwabren Zazzau retired as Fief holder of Gadas on 19th May, 2018.
