Magajin Malam Zazzau

Alhaji Muhammed Lawal Iro was born in the year 1938 at Tudun Wada Zaria. He attended Elementary school Tudun wada, Zaria from 1945 to 1949. From the year 1950, he went to provincial middle school Zaria which is now Al Huda-Huda college. He proceeded to Federal Government Technical college, Kano Trade Centre Kano in 1953.
He served at the Federal Ministry of Works, Zaria as a Technical staff in the year 1958, Northern Nigerian Development Cooperation (NNDC) Plant Hire Division Book Keeper/Cashier. Zaria 1960-1962. He was a senior commercial representative, North in charge of newspaper distribution, circulation, advertisement, special reporting, commercial and marketing. He was aslso an Assistant Marketing Manager NNN Lagos/Kaduna office. As the years passed, he retired from service voluntarily in 1988 and engaged himself in livestock and crop farming to date.
He became Sarkin Tudun Wadan Zaria in 1994, which the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris CFR made him. Until in 1997, when he was made the Magajin Mallam Zazzau District Head of Basawa at first and moved to District Head of Samaru. on 19th May, 2018 Then Retired as Fief Holder of Samaru.
