HAKIMAI ‘YA’YAN SARKI. This Hakimai title belongs to the Fulani noble families, (Royal Dynasties) which in proper language are those whose ancestors were the leaders in the Fulani conquest of the Emirate at the beginning of the nineteenth century. It should be noted that these list of traditional titles are the sons and grandsons of Fulani Emir’s of Zazzau. It is important to note that the Title of Madaki is the most senior office’ the names are not arranged by seniority but rather by alphabetical order for convenience.
