LIMAMIN ZAZZAU (CHIEF IMAM OF ZAZZAU) MALAM DALHATU KASIMU IMAM
Malam Dalhatu Kasimu Imam was conferred with the title of Chief Imam of Zazzau based on his intensive Islamic and Qur’anic educational background. As a child, he started his Islamic school from age five (5). He was born on the 28th February 1962 at Anguwan Juma Zaria city. At age eleven (11) he started primary education at Township Primary School No.1 Kofar kuyanbana where he obtained his primary certificate, from 1973 to 1977. He then proceeded to persuade secondary education at Government Secondary School at Saminaka from 1977 to 1982. There he obtained his General Certificate of Education (GCE O’ Level).
Alhaji Dalhatu had great interest in the field of accounting, for this reason, he decided to persuade his career in the field of accounting. He attended Nuhu Bmalli Polytechnic and obtained various certificates that include Diploma in Accounting and Auditing, Advanced Diploma in Accounting And Finance, National Diploma in Accounting and a Higher National Diploma in Accounting(HND Accounting).
He started work with The Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria from September, 1988. During the period of his service he attended courses relating to his field organized by private sectors like Luton Management Services, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Zaria Business School amongst others and courses organized by public sectors including Office of the Accountant General of The Federation, Office of The Auditor-General of The Federation.
In November 1996 he became the Imam, Barewa College Mosque where her served as a part-time function to December 2015 being the same date he was conferred with the duty as the Chief Imam of Zazzau.
Alhaji Dalhatu currently residing at No. 18 Anguwan Juma Zaria City. He is married to two (2) wives and sixteen(16) children.
